Popcorn & Perspectives: A Short History of Black Los Angeles

Due to several events taking place on the same day, we will be rescheduling our program to Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 12:00–1:00 PM in Geffen Hall 122.

Join us for a screening of A Short History of Black Los Angeles, a film that highlights the rich cultural legacy, resilience, and contributions of Black communities across the city. Following the short film, we’ll engage in a short discussion exploring themes of identity, place, and historical memory. Popcorn will be served as we come together to learn, reflect, and connect. Open to all.
